Types of agreements

To simplify the process of setting up an escrow solution, NCC Group offers several ‘off the shelf’ escrow agreements. Below you will find details of our most popular agreements, however, our experienced in-house legal team will also create bespoke agreements to suit your specific requirements.

Single Licensee Agreement

Our Single Licensee Agreement is suitable for any applications that have been built specifically for use by one organisation. The agreement is put in place between the software supplier, software end-user and NCC Group, as the independent third party. Under the terms of the Single Licensee Agreement the software supplier deposits the source code of the bespoke software application or business process into escrow.

In the event that the software supplier ever becomes unable to continue to maintain and support the bespoke software, NCC Group will release the source code to the software end-user, allowing them to continue to maintain the software in-house or appoint another software supplier to do so.

Multi Licensee Agreement

Our Multi Licensee Agreements are suitable for software applications in use by multiple users in different organisations. Once the Multi Licensee Agreement is live, any licensee can join the agreement providing they have a valid software licence.

In the event that the software supplier ever becomes unable to continue to maintain and support the bespoke software, the registered licensees can apply for the software source code to be released, allowing them to continue to maintain the software in-house or appoint another software supplier to do so.

Bespoke Agreements

We understand that there may be cases when our standard agreements don't fit your exact requirements and you may need a more customised version. Our expert legal team are committed to ensuring we provide the most suitable arrangement for all parties involved.
